Subversion Problem with OpenSUSE 11.3

When accessing subversion repositories with my OpenSUSE 11.3 64bit machine I sometimes run into problems. Especially when it involves an https repository and a complex operation like a diff or merge. For instance a diff runs for a while, and then I get this error:

svn: PROPFIND of '/some/path/to/some/file': SSL negotiation failed: Connection reset by peer (https://some.url)
svn: Error reading spooled REPORT request response
Some searching on the web pointed to a potential problem with libneon27. The installed version was libneon27 0.28.4-8.2-x86_64.

Upgrading to libneon27 0.29.3-12.1-x86_64 did solve these problems. With OpenSUSE 11.3 you can do this easily via the build service. Searching for libneon27 should give you the version from the
devel:libraries:c_c++/openSUSE_11.3 repository. Use the 1-click-installation there, or just click here.

This seems to be Bug #641771 (there you also find a link to an alternative factory rpm for libneon).
